Matt Dodson, the Archuleta County Department of Human Services director (center), holds a plaque recognizing his department as helping the county attain a high-performing status according to C-Stat standards. The C-Stat is a performance-based analysis strategy that helps counties focus and improve on performance outcomes and positive change. The award is given for consistently meeting the C-Stat standards and to distinguish top C-Stat performers. Recognition of the contributions made by the Department of Human Services, according to Dodson, was very important to him.
