The primary phone number — (970) 264-2250 — for Mountain Express Public Transit is down and the service has switched to two temporary phone numbers.
Archuleta County Transportation Coordinator Laura Vanoni explained in an email to The SUN that the outage was caused by difficulties in transferring the main phone line from CenturyLink.
She added that the two alternative numbers are (970) 731-0197 and (970) 264-8552.
She indicated that Mountain Express is unsure when the main line will be available again.
