Mountain Chile Cha Cha autumn celebration set for Sept. 28

Posted

Come and join us in celebrating the vibrant colors of fall and the southwest green chile harvest.

Indulge in the Mexican beer garden, green chile cook-off and tasting, margarita contest and tasting, and groove to the live music by Sangre Joven and Str8 Shot.

To guarantee a top-notch experience for all, we are implementing a $10 entry fee, and those 12 and under are free to get into our event. We have expanded the music lineup to provide an even more entertaining experience. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to make this event the best.

A portion of the event proceeds will support the Patty Aragon Memorial. It will be donated to Aspire, the only prenatal care clinic, pregnancy center and parenting education program in Pagosa Springs.

Thank you for being a part of our community; we look forward to seeing you there.

Trail races canceled

Pagosa Fun! regrets to announce that the Chile Cha Cha 5k/10k trail races have been postponed this year due to ongoing construction on Light Plant Road, which could affect the course access.

While we won’t be hosting the trail races this year, we encourage you to attend the Mountain Chile Cha Cha and Patty Aragon Green Chile Classic. The Cha Cha will open the entry gate at 11:30 on Sept. 28.

We hope to see you at the Cha Cha.
